1. The Foundation

The purpose of the Foundation is primarily to distribute life-long, fixed-term or single grants to deserving members of the Suhr family. The Board may take family members’ financial situation and current health into account, during the awarding process.

During this process, the Foundation will on one hand try to maintain family members’ interest in the family and, on the other hand, award part of the annual profit. The awarding will be based solely on an assessment of family members’ financial situation and current health.

Applicants awarded a grant will, as far as possible, receive a reply before the end of the first quarter of the following year.

To obtain a grant by purpose C, an application must be submitted. Applications can be submitted throughout the year.

To obtain a grant by purpose D-G, an application must be submitted. Applications can be submitted throughout the year. The application must be accompanied by sufficient documentation of both the purpose of the application and of the need for a grant.

Please note, that  the Board may discuss the general need for grants within the different purposes above, during the planning of the year. The Board will then process the potential recipients within the individual grant purposes, and distribute the amount among the selected recipients.
