The Foundations\u2019 business spans over a variety of activities, from acreage operations over nature cultivation and administration to consulting. The business activities are primarily run out of the forest and estate office of Bonderup.
The Foundation has a total of 1,585 hectare land at it’s disposal on the estates and forests at Bonderup. Operations of the acreage are coordinated with reference to optimal maintenance of the interests of the Foundation. Weighing of financial interests, nature care and cultural history depends on the size and nature of the tasks.<\/p>

Foresting<\/strong>
The Foundation owns four forests of a total of 408 hectare split between Bonderup Forest (115 hectare), Merl\u00f8se Forest (141 hectare), Sandlyng Forest (138 hectare) and Skuerup Forest (14 hectare).
The foresting is run traditionally with wood production as primary operation.
New initiatives for letting out areas to publicly organized utilization of nature have increasingly been incorporated in the activities of forest operations.
The forest and estate office has several coorperation agreements which signifies\u00a0forests and estates managing for the respective owners of these estates. Such operations are carefully coordinated with the operations of the Foundation\u2019s own forests.<\/p>

PEFC-Certificate<\/strong>
The forest and estate office of Bonderup are part of an umbrella organisation which upholds PEFC Denmarks regulations for sustainable foresting. PEFC is short for Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes. The Foundation’s forests are group certified along with four other estates.<\/p>

Farming<\/strong>
On Bonderup and Merl\u00f8segaard there are a total of 1,177 hectare farming land spreading out over the estate of Bonderup, Merl\u00f8segaarden and estates located south of T\u00f8ll\u00f8se. The farming land is run in a modern and rational fashion.
The ambition for this part of the business is to adjust the farming operations to the changing societal aspirations which, to a higher extend, takes environmental issues and nature care into consideration.<\/p>

Hunting<\/strong>
Hunting, nature and cultivation of the wild has a high level of attention in the acreage management of the Foundation. Hunting rights are for the majority of the areas partly hired out, hence contributes to the economy of the Foundation. Professional hunting service is associated to supervision of the area, caretaking of breeding and setting of game.<\/p>

House letting<\/strong>
The forest and estate office of Bonderup administers 26 homes used for staff accomodation and house letting.<\/p>

Gammeltorv
<\/strong>The entire building at Gammeltorv is rented out for office purposes.
