The Foundation<\/strong><\/p><p>The purpose of the Foundation is primarily to distribute life-long, fixed-term or single grants to deserving members of the Suhr family. The Board may take family members&#8217; financial situation and current health into account, during the awarding process.<\/p><p>During this process, the Foundation will on one hand try to maintain family members\u2019 interest in the family and, on the other hand, award part of the annual profit. The awarding will be based solely on an assessment of family members\u2019 financial situation and current health.<\/p><p><strong>2. Purpose<\/strong><\/p><p>The Foundation awards the following purposes:<\/p><p>A.\u00a0 \u00a0 Family members, who have reached the age of 20. Lifelong or fixed-term grants of up to 10\u00a0years.<\/p><p>B.\u00a0 \u00a0 Family members, with special focus on their financial situation and current health.<\/p><p>C.\u00a0 \u00a0 Family members who marry (\u201dBridal Accessories grant\u201d).<\/p><p>D.\u00a0 \u00a0 Family members, between the ages of\u00a020 and\u00a029 who are resident abroad, and who have not received a grant under subparagraphs A and B for financial support of educational purposes in Denmark (\u201dEducational grant\u201d).<\/p><p>E.\u00a0 \u00a0 Surviving spouses &#8211; if the deceased spouse has received grants from the Foundation.<\/p><p>F.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Support of genealogy and the like as well as grave sites etc. in relation to the family.<\/p><p>G.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Former employees of the Foundation who have resigned because of age or illness.<\/p><p><strong>3. Application procedure<\/strong><\/p><p>To receive a grant, it is a precondition that the family member has previously applied for registration in the Foundation&#8217;s Family Register with a copy of their birth certificate, and that the family member regularly updates their contact and account details on the Foundation\u2019s website.<\/p><p>To obtain a grant by purpose A, no application must be submitted.<\/p><p>To obtain a grant by purpose B, an application must be submitted. Applications can be submitted between 1st of November to 30th of November. The application must be accompanied by sufficient documentation of both the purpose of the application, and of the need for a grant, including a copy of the latest tax report from the applicant\u2019s local tax authority, if the application is made based on their financial situation, and a copy of a relevant doctor\u2019s note, if the application is made based on the applicant\u2019s current health. Applicants awarded a grant will, as far as possible, receive a reply before the end of the first quarter of the following year.<\/p><p>To obtain a grant by purpose C, an application must be submitted. Applications can be submitted throughout the year.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">To obtain a grant by purpose D-G, an application must be submitted. Applications can be submitted throughout the year. The application must be accompanied by sufficient documentation of both the purpose of the application and of the need for a grant.<\/span><\/p><p>Please note, that\u00a0 the Board may discuss the general need for grants within the different purposes above, during the planning of the year. They may decide on amounts to be allocated between the Foundation&#8217;s various grant purposes.
